On the eve of the opening of the Festival, we are honored to announce that a number of films postproduced, mixed or restored by Eclair will be featured at the 71st Cannes Film Festival, including special screenings, heritage films and Cinéma de la Plage screenings, from May 8 to 19!

Eclair oversaw the post-production of Carlos Diegues’ The Great Mystical Circus, and Wim Wenders’ Pope Francis: A Man of His Word. Colour-graded by Karim El Katari and Christine Hiam respectively, the films are scheduled as out-of-competition special screenings. Also, Michel Toesca's To The Four Winds, mixed by Eclair, is part of the Official Selection.

Several classic films restored by our experts at Eclair will also be featured as part of Cannes Classics: Henri Decoin’s Beating Heart; Blow for Blow, by Marin Karmitz ; Hyenas, by Djibril Diop Mambety; Agnès Varda’s One Sings, the Other Doesn’t; and Lamb, by Paulin Soumanou Vieyra.

Finally, two major restorations of classic films by Eclair will screen at the Cinéma de la Plage during the festival: Destiny, by Youssef Chahine and The Big Blue, by Luc Besson. Lats but not least, don't miss Laetitia Carton's Le Grand Bal, mixed by Eclair and screened at part of the Cinema de la Plage Official Selection.

Congratulations to everyone at Eclair that made these screenings possible!
